The great greenhouse of the Steam Gardens rose from the surroundings, a crystal palace filled with plants of every kind you can imagine. Walking in you’re hit with the humid air, clouds of vapour swirling up from the streams and pools that wormed their way through vibrant displays, filling the vaulted ceiling of the greenhouse with its own miniature troposphere.

The first track I wrote for this record. It was actually written in December 2022 but repurposed as the first track in Jamuary 2023, which explains a bit why it is quite different from the 6 preceding tracks in terms of feel and structure.
It was originally called BXRO, which stood for Blatent Xtal Rip Off.
I struggled with this initially, the core idea of it was nice enough but it went nowhere, as is often my problem. Eventually I worked out the bridge (is it a bridge?) and how to switch it up slightly for the second half, enough for it to (hopefully) not bore you to death. I like it, anyway.
