One by one they flickered into sight around the forest floor. Delicate little creatures, barely perceptible from their blue glow. I could feel their eyes on me… I couldn’t tell why, but I knew at least that it wasn’t threatening. Slowly they seemed satisfied and turned their attention elsewhere, gently hopping in one direction or another. Clearly they had more important matters to attend to.

This is yet another Jamuary 2023 track, but it’s the most different from the other ones. I really like how the beat came out like breathy heartbeat, and that brought the rest of the concept of this track (and the album as a whole) to life.
This is the track that brought those little rising and descending squeaks that are peppered throughout the album into being. So you can blame Kodama for all that, basically.
